Arrow Rock Quilt Camp is all about giving quilters a relaxed atmosphere in which they can learn new techniques, eat well, make new friends, and have a good time.
Once a thriving river port and trading post, Arrow Rock was also a key stop on the Santa Fe Trail and for Lewis & Clark, Dotted with architectural treasures from the past, the entire town was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
This quaint little village of 56 folks features much history, restaurants, several bed & breakfasts, antique & gift shops, and, in summer and fall, a professional theater. Arrow Rock is host to thousands of visitors every year.
Arrow Rock Quilt Camp is West of St. Louis, East of Kansas City – The village is located in central Missouri about 160 miles west of St. Louis, Missouri and 90 miles east of Kansas City, Missouri. Upon registration, we will send detailed information for flying or driving, or you can view the village on Google Maps.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation chose Arrow Rock as one of a Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2006. This honor is the first given to any town in Missouri, and Arrow Rock joins the ranks of some major, well-known US cities.
Nationally recognized quilt teachers will be teaching, and we promise a fun-filled week! This camp started in 2004 by Betty Simonson.
